Wendy Smith, a Sandhurst resident of 47 years, works 25 hours a week litter picking around Sandhurst, and has now done so for 17 years
You may have seen her around the town (proudly wearing her UStore Sandhurst hi vis jacket) on her converted bike collecting all sorts of litter and rubbish from our streets.
Wendy loves her role but would of course prefer there to be no litter and thus not to be doing her job. She is equally passionate about recycling and believes we could all do much more to protect and maintain our environment.
Together with other local companies, we are pleased to be associated with and provide financial support to this worthwhile cause within our local community
